- general ledger accounts (project spending and revenue, prepare journal memos,
and check trial balances monthly, data entry)
- federal/state/local grants (amount to spend, how to spend, how to request payment, i.e.
purchase orders, contracts, reports, all State reports and all financial files)
- special funds (Friends, PTO, enrichment grants, gift accounts) - same as above
- questions about current budget details - help schools
- student residency issues
- tuition billing, payments, receipts and projections
- building use billing and receipts
- special financial board reports - information to Asst. Supt.
- receives all receipts and assigns accounting codes
- handles problems in Accounting Dept.
- quarterly unemployment reports, 941 forms, VT State & All retirement processing, monthly & quarterly
- main contact with auditors
- cash management
- performs AP or PR duties of Accounting Clerks, when needed
- assist Treasurer when needed
- VT Special Education Expenditure Reports
- Monthly balancing of interdistrict receivable accounts all districts
- maintaining spreadsheet for flex plan charges with Future Planning - all districts
- maintains SDC spreadsheets in all districts
